2012 Spring Community Classes
2012 Spring Community Classes

The Spring Community classes are offered at the Butler County Board of Education, 211 School Highlands Road (Greenville) on Monday and Tuesday evenings as specified below. Class tuition is noted by each class and tuition is supplemented by grants and Title funds.
Mail in registration forms are on Page 3. Registrations are due 2 weeks prior to the start date. Classes are available on a first come, first served basis.

After-School Chats
“What’s in your backpack?” Greet your child with this question and you’ll discover a lot about what she does in class.
- Set aside time each day to go through his/her papers. Try to do it first thing after school when his/her day is fresh on his/her mind.
- Look over your youngster’s work together. Help him/her feel proud by making a specific comment about something he/she has done. For instance, if he/she shows you a picture that was drawn in art class, you might say. ”The gray sky and big waves look just like our rainy day at the beach.”
- Have him/her talk through math problems or science xperiments to show you what he/she has learned. He/she might explain how he/she finds theperimeter of a triangle or why ants dig tunnels, for example.
